Tianna Lohse, Hanover senior and three-year starter Tianna Lohse is off to a hot start for 2020. The starting forward for Hanover High School is averaging 13.6 points per game, 3.8 assists and 3.2 steals per contest. She’s also shooting 58 percent from the field. “I have been very fortunate to play in some big games and I feel it has given me the ability to be a good leader to the rest of the team. Each time I step on the court with my teammates, I know that if we play our game we will accomplish great things this season,” said Lohse. “I feel very confident when shooting the ball this season. Now being a senior, I have taken it upon myself to contribute more on the offensive end.” Having played with her teammates for many years, the bond they share is a special one. “There are six seniors on the team, and we have all played together since third grade having had a lot of success together,” said Lohse. The Hanover girls are currently ranked No.3 in the state and Lohse believes the team is ready to take a big step towards their ultimate goal. “In the last several seasons we have had great success, and each one of us knows what it takes to reach our ultimate goal,” said Lohse.
