Little River’s Braxton Lafferty – Advanced Physical Therapy Student of the Month

Braxton Lafferty of Little River was chosen as the Advanced Physical Therapy Athlete of the Month. Lafferty was an 8-man Division 1 offensive and defensive player of the year finalist.

“It’s an honor to be picked and it doesn’t show just what I’ve done because it all wouldn’t be possible without all my great teammates and coaches,” Lafferty said.

Lafferty spent time on and off the field, and on the courts, getting ready for the season.

“Been lifting all summer working on getting stronger and played lots of MAYB to stay in shape and went to football camps to help improve my skills,” Lafferty said.

Lafferty is ready for a competitive season, but also ready to make the memories he’ll always remember.

“My goals are to get better and show everyone that we are still gonna be a strong competitor,” Lafferty said. “And just better as a team and make memories that will last a lifetime.”

While still undecided on what his future holds, Lafferty has an idea of what he wants to do after high school.

“I’m not 100 percent sure yet but may go and get my construction management degree,” Lafferty said.
