Tennessee Titans – Field Of The Month Presented By Hellas Construction

default

The Tennessee Titans recently made a switch from natural grass to an innovative Hellas turf system at Nissan Stadium.

The specific system used at Nissan Stadium includes Matrix Helix®monofilament turf, a Cushdrain® shock pad, and organic infill. Together, these provide athletes a consistent playing experience that feels like natural grass, especially when it comes to foot traction and cleat release. Nissan Stadium is the first NFL stadium to use organic infill in a synthetic turf system.

This is the same Hellas turf system the Titans practice on at their training facility.

“Just witnessing our practices inside and how they feel and how they respond on that product,” Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said. “We’re excited to be able to add this product to our stadium.”

The Titans will begin the 2023 season on their newly installed field. The team will also play on Hellas monofilament turf when they travel to London during the 2023 season to play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium where Hellas is also installing Matrix Helix turf.
