We have reached the final weeks of the sixth annual Work Zone Awareness Week design contest for teens in grades 8-12.
This contest is a fun, interactive way for educators to incorporate instruction on art, design, and creative software into their class, whether in-person or virtual.
National Work Zone Awareness Week, held the last week of April, promotes safety while traveling through work zones. Teens are in their formative driving years and these contests help to reach them to encourage safe driving practices.
Visit Kansas Turnpike Authority’s website https://www.ksturnpike.com/ for the information you need to know to enter the design contest. Submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 11. The winning teen will receive a $200 gift card and have their work published in VYPE Kansas Magazine.
