Connor Anglin is a standout baseball player for Ell-Saline High School.
Last season, Anglin was second team all-league catcher for the Cardinals, while also earning honorable mention all-state honors. He hit .462 on the season, after starting the year 0-for-13 at the plate. He discovered he had a partially torn shoulder that was affecting his swing.
Off the diamond, Anglin participates in numerous activities at Ell-Saline, including Forensics, Scholar’s Bowl, Business Professionals of America, Science Olympiad and F.F.A.
He carries a grade point average of 3.95 and is the vice-president of the National Honor Society. He is also a member of P.A.L.S., which is a mentoring program for the middle school.
