McPherson’s Gavin Richardson – Student of the Month Presented by Advanced Physical Therapy
- Updated: October 23, 2019
Gavin Richardson – McPherson HS
It’s every pitcher’s nightmare – getting hit by a batted ball. It happened to Gavin during the spring baseball season, and the shot fractured his wrist. He didn’t need surgery, but Gavin still needed six weeks of physical therapy. Using an arm-band machine, Gavin was able to restore mobility to his wrist, but he also noticed an increase in strength. Now back at full strength, Gavin is able to return to playing football and baseball, plus wrestling.
